The office of the ARSU and Amahator Area GBs Union have raised questions with respect to fund distribution to the District Nodal officer of NITI AYOG, Kiphire under Aspirational District.

The office of the ARSU and Amahator Area GB’s Union reported under the RTI for Aspirational district funds allocation and found that a total of more than thirty-five crores have been sanctioned under the aspirational district from NITI AYOG so far.

However, the Amahator Area has only received eleven lakhs and twenty-eight thousand under the following- Rostrum (two lakhs), Angawadi Centre (six lakhs), Mushroom Farming (three lakhs twenty-eight thousand) as per the ARSU Press Release.

The Unions have questioned and seek clarification from the district nodal officer under NITI AYOG for clarification of funds distribution and under what scale or criteria are the funds allocated to different Areas under Kiphire district and have issued a 7-day period to the district administration for clarifications.

The Unions further questioned the authenticity of development projects which are shown completed in the RTI report, however this has not been the case on the ground.

It expressed sadness over how Amahator Area has been Neglected by the district administration even after the establishment of Amahator EAC Hq since 1987.
