The Angami Public Organisation (APO) with all the tribal units at Kohima will be holding a public rally in Kohima on 9th April 2025 (Wednesday) in protest against the Indo-Myanmar Border Fencing and its related issues.

A circular from the APO dated 7th April 2025 informed that the rally would begin from 10:00 am at the old MLA Hostel Junction, Kohima.

In this regard, the APO has requested all APO Frontal Organisations office bearers to disseminate the information to members in their respective circle/neighbourhood and to attend the rally without fail.

“Please ensure that you have at least one typical Angami attire (Shawl/ mekhela/ sash/ waist coat/ necklace etc with you when you come for the rally,” the organisation’s President Thejao Vihieno and General Secretary Keneilesa Neikha stated in the circular.
