The Aquba Union Zunheboto and the Aghunato Area Union Zunheboto have denounced the murder of late Hozheto Yeptho in Dimapur on 25 August 2023. Both unions expressed shock over the merciless killing of Yeptho who hailed from Aquba New Village under Zunheboto district and demanded befitting punishment for the perpetrator.

Aquba Union condemned the murder accused Noknyei Konyak and demanded the law enforcing agency for befitting punishment to awarded to the perpetrator for the death of the father of two.

The union also appreciated the police for the “prompt action in apprehending the culprit”. It also urged the authorities for appropriate compensation and employment to the deceased’s family.

Meanwhile, Aghunato Area Union Zunheboto, while condemning the accused, said that it was dismayed by the failure of the government in providing security to an employee inside a government establishment.

It also acknowledged the prompt action of the law enforcing agency in catching the suspect and further demanded justice and appropriate compensation for the family of late Hozheto Yeptho, who was an employee of Nagaland State Transport Department.
