The Angami Students’ Union (ASU) has reiterated its definitive stance regarding the updated tuition fee structure for the academic session 2026-2027 in all Angami jurisdictions till further notification.

The student body clarified that the tuition fee structure for the rural areas includes Class 10 and below Rs 700 per student as monthly fee, home tuition fee rate Rs 1500 and for the urban Rs 1000 per student as monthly fee and home tuition fee of Rs 3000 with at least 5 classes a week and minimum one hour for every class.

It further said the ratio of teacher/students for a single tuition batch should be 1:6.

Stating that the fee structure is strictly for both rural and urban areas under the Angami jurisdiction, the ASU said the official clarification has been deliberately adjusted to reflect the transparency and unique economic realities of both rural and urban communities.
