The Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports has informed that the Cash Award Programme to meritorious sportspersons for the year 2023-24 will be held on 29th August 2024 in commemoration of the National Sports Day 2024. The event will take place at IG Stadium, Kohima at 11:00 am.

The award will be given to those who won medals in recognized disciplines/tournaments affiliated to Nagaland Olympic Association in the International, National and North-East levels.

The concerned medal winners who have submitted their certificates have been asked to collect the award personally. As per the SOP direction from the Ministry, all have been requested to preferably come in sports attire.
