BJP Nagaland State President, Benjamin Yepthomi has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah for their decisive and visionary leadership in paving the way for the creation of the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA).
Yepthomi also appreciated the Members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, led by Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, along with Deputy Chief Ministers, TR Zeliang and Yanthungo Patton for their support towards the FNTA Bill, 2026.
He extended his warmest congratulations to the people of Eastern Nagaland and acknowledged the leadership and efforts of ENPO President, Chingmak Chang and Minister, Paiwang Konyak, Convenor of the Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union (ENLU), on this historic development.

Stating that the passing of the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority Bill, 2026, on September 3, 2026, marks an important milestone in the history of Nagaland, Yepthomi said the aspirations and voices of the people of Eastern Nagaland, carried from the grassroots to the corridors of Delhi, have finally received due recognition.
He said the new chapter also brings greater responsibility for all stakeholders to embrace reform, work towards meaningful change and collectively strive for greater progress, development and a brighter future for the people.
“This is not merely a new beginning; it is an opportunity for all of us to come together and build a better tomorrow,” he added.
