Cadets from Sainik School Satara, Maharashtra visit Nagaland

Peren: Cadets get opportunity to learn about culture and tradition of Nagaland

As part of an Educational and Motivational tour to North East India, 47 Cadets of Sainik School Satara, Maharashtra visited Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland on 7th April 2024. The cadets included 37 boys and 10 girls, Lt Col Amit Shukla, PRO (Defence) has informed.

During their visit, the students witnessed the training and administrative facilities at the Sainik School and interacted with the Principal, staff and cadets of the school. The cadets also engaged in a friendly Tug-of-War competition.

Mementos and souvenirs were also exchanged between Sainik School Satara and Sainik School Punglwa.

The visiting cadets from Maharashtra were given a tour of an Assam Rifles Battalion at Ghaspani where they got an insight of a battalion routine. Further, the cadets got an opportunity to learn about culture and tradition of Nagaland.
