Cashless services for PM-JAY, CMHIS beneficiaries in Nagaland to continue despite technical issues: NHPS

Kohima: Beneficiaries urged to immediately contact NHPS if any empanelled hospital refuses cashless benefits

The Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS), Department of Health & Family Welfare, has informed that beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) in Nagaland can continue to avail cashless services in empanelled hospitals despite some technical issues.

NHPS informed that the implementation of the health insurance schemes are encountering intermittent technical issues within the National Health Authority (NHA) IT Portal for CMHIS (EP)” however, it assured that all efforts are underway to resolve the issues.

Further, it notified that all empanelled hospitals have been directed to submit offline registrations and preauthorization requests along with all necessary documents by email to SHA and Claim Processing team of the Insurance Company to ensure seamless service delivery till the portal issues are resolved.

The governing body for the implementation of the health insurances has also cautioned any empanelled hospital failing to deliver cashless service to beneficiaries with necessary disciplinary actions as per the provision of the Contract will be initiated against erring EHCPs.
