In the run up to the 75th year of India’s Independence and commemorating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Central Bureau of Communication Field Office Kohima organised Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign on 12th August 2022 at Kendriya Vidyala School Kohima. The programme was organised with the focus to strengthen people’s relationship with the tricolour and invoke a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the students and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
Speaking on the occasion as resource person, Amit Kumar Faculty of KVS said the main objective of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is to establish a personal relationship of every Indian with our national flag. In his speech, Rakesh Kumar resource person and faculty of KVS called upon the students to hoist the national Flag at their respective homes from 13th to 15th August 2022 and also encourage others to hoist the flag. As part of the campaign, a public rally was organised wherein Santosh Kumar Principal of KVS Kohima flagged off the rally. Patriotic song and Quiz competition were also organised to mark the celebration.
