He also informed the members that all the ongoing projects and schemes have to be completed by the end of the year only then the Central government will give the next project or scheme.

Yepthomi added that the state government is not allowed to keep any Central sponsored schemes or projects money in savings rather the State government is to report it to Centre if a particular project is not completed in a stipulated time or year. The MP requested the departments implementing Central Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and projects to make sure that every project is completed on time and to make sure that the very projects and schemes reach the beneficiaries.

Upon presentation of various centrally sponsored schemes being implemented by the Department of Agriculture, H&FW, Food and Civil Supplies, Power, Rural Development, and R&B, the MP asked the Agriculture Department to encourage the farmers by giving them all the facilities available including financial and also to identify various fruits and vegetables which can be grown in that particular land so that the villagers can not only feed themselves but can also export it to other places thereby earning more revenue.

During the DISHA meeting, he also requested the Department to reach out to the farmers especially for filling up of forms for PM Kisan as it is unlimited and also as it is found that many farmers’ forms are being rejected due to the farmers being illiterate or ignorant.

The MP requested the power department to try to make a power generating plant so that they cannot only be consumers but also producers and also asked the Power Department to send various proposals for setting up of power generating plants at various places.
