Chang Wedoshi Setshang observes ‘black flag day’

On the sixth day of agitation, the Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) along with the Sao Chang college students observed ‘black flag day’ protesting against the Higher Education Department over the non-fulfillment of their demands.

On Wednesday, black flags were hoisted to mark the students agitation against the department and its failure to address the basic transportation requirements.

During the agitation, the Chang Wedoshi Setshang along with the students protested around Tuensang Town and marched up to Sao Chang college, where black flags were on display in the college office and all the buses.

CWS stated that the agitation will continue until the higher education department give a positive response to their demands. The CWS has started the ban of vehicles movement of all the government registered vehicles bearing NL-10 and NL-11 since Monday . On the first day of agitation, Chang Wedoshi Setshang ceased two government vehicles at Tuensang Town. CWS stated that the ban movement will continue until the higher education department fulfill their demands of buses. The CWS also mentioned that the volunteers in the banning government vehicles are on duty from morning till midnight.
