Sub-divisional departmental Head of Offices Coordination Meeting was held on June 24 at ADC Office Chamber, Chiephobozou, Kohima.

Chairing the Meeting ADC, Chiephobozou, Vekusheyi Rhakho, NCS stressed on the need of improvement of staff attendance and requested all the department under the Sub-division to ensure offices remain open to redress the public grievances and to perform their duties efficiently for the citizens.

The ADC also extended his appreciation to all Heads of Offices for their cooperation and active participation in the successful observance of World Environment Day 2026 through the conduct of Cleanliness Drives and Tree Plantation activities and thanked the Forest Department for making timely arrangements for the supply of saplings.

He has requested all  department to continually carry out such initiatives, both within and outside their respective offices as a collective commitment towards maintaining a clean and green environment. He reminded all the departments to submit their departmental activities report before the end of the month. The ADC further discussed about the monsoon preparedness with the members where he requested the SDO (R and B) Chiephobozou; to clear the Tsiesema landslide that occurred at the National Highway, to put up a reflector at the High Court bypass road and to install speed breakers at the DIET Junction, Chiechama. Solid waste management rules 2026 and Census enumeration at respective posting places were also discussed at the meeting.
