Chosen Baptist Church organises “The Light Crusade”

Chosen Baptist Church, Kohima, organised a three-day “The Light Crusade” from October 9 to 11 on the theme “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of light” James 1:17(NKJV) at State Academy Hall, Kohima.

With the aim of bringing people together for worship, prayer, biblical teaching, fellowship and spiritual renewal, the programme was centred on the theme of light, drawing inspiration from the Word of God and encouraging believers to grow in faith and reflect the light of Christ in their daily lives.

On the culmination service, programme was chaired by Petekhrietuo Mechülho, while Bishal Thapa, Pastor, Chosen Baptist Church was the speaker. He stated that the understanding of God’s goodness, grace and divine guidance came as a perfect gift.

The theme served as a reminder of God’s unchanging goodness and the importance of acknowledging Him as the source of every blessing. He call on the congregation to walk in the light with the perfect gift with the Giver, who is the Father of Light.

The programme included a call to worship led by the Immanuel Praise Team, followed by Bible readings by Thsitila Thonger and Salenthong Khevazüklü. Special musical presentations were presented by the Youth Worship Center, Flames of Fire Baptist Church, Neikho Kaimo, Thejangutuo Thevo and Voice of Faith.

A life testimony was shared by Tsalichum Thongrü, while Ms. Gwanye Kesen led the offertory prayer.

The three-day programme concluded on October 11, marking the culmination of the spiritual gathering organised by Chosen Baptist Church, Kohima. The crusade stood as an expression of the church’s commitment to worship, fellowship, evangelism and spiritual growth.
