In a press statement issued on April 18, the President of NDPP, 18th Chozuba A/c Vevohu Epao expressed shock over the LJP (RV) under Chozuba Constituency “instead of admitting their misdeeds has blatantly denied that they were never invited to any election related activities neither in the constituency nor in the district level.”
“It may be mentioned that all the necessary information received from the PDA State Election Committee and District/Constituency Election committees including the tour schedules of the State Campaign Program, District and Constituency programs were forwarded to Dr. Chotisuh Sazo which we have all the records including his statements made to the PDA Official candidate and his party workers if required to prove,” stated the press release.
In a recent press release circulated in media houses in Nagaland, the NDPP Chozuba claimed that Vevotso Medeo who identified himself as the President of the Lok Janshakti Party (RV) Phek District (in response to the circulation of the meeting minute of the PDA Election Committee held on 16th April 2024) which appeals to the party high command to give directions to refrain from anti-party activities carried by former speaker Dr. Chotisuh Sazo in the constituency.

The statement also questioned the credentials of Vevotso Medeo who has been appointed as the district president of LJP (RV) when the General Secretary of the LJP (RV) of 20th Meluri A/c has specifically stated that there is no district office bearers as they have join the party just before the general election 2024 in the presence of all the Phek District Legislators and the Election Committee in the meeting at Hotel Japfu on April 3, 2024.
The statement requested Vevotso Medeo to prove his claim that Kudecho Khamo campaigned for another candidate. “Instead of making baseless and irresponsible accusation, he is also requested to make his party stand clear as Dr. Chotisuh Sazo fails to declare his support till today,” stated the press release.
It further announced that the NDPP Chozuba Assembly Constituency will welcome all the LJP (RV) including former Speaker Dr. Chotisuh Sazo if they incerely declare their official stand and extend support to the PDA official candidate.
