In commemoration of the 3^rd National Javelin Day, the Chümoukedima Athletics Association(CAA) in collaboration with Nagaland Athletics Association(NAA) organized Javelin Competition on August 7.

The competition was held for young athletes in the category of U- 12, U-14 and U-16 for Boys& Girls from Chümoukedima District at the 1^st NAP Ground. The event was graced by Mhonsao Ngullie, Honorary Secretary, Nagaland Athletics Association as the inaugural Guest, while Naga Olympian Chekrovolu Swuro was the guest for the closing event.
