Chümoukedima DPDB conducts monthly meeting

Chümoukedima: Board to have separate board and sub-committee for society registration and upgradation of school level

The monthly DPDB meeting was held on Thursday at the DC Office Conference Hall, Chümoukedima under the chairmanship of Advisor, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, DIPR stated.

During the meeting, the house welcomed the new members and deliberated on the last meeting review on the Registration of Society for Serendip Guardians, 7th Mile Model Village which was approved by the house. Other agendas deliberated at the meeting were the upgradation of Oracle School located at Diphupar- A and Paramount Educate Montessori School which was approved by the house.

While various Society Registrations approved by the house after deliberating were – Kemnbay Educational Foundation located at Tenyiphe-l; Zakierhi Shüya Memorial School; Zasi Krotho Society; Pick-up Van owners & Drivers Union; District Sports Council; Gorkha Students Union, Singrijan Village; Lapiye Centre for Mental Health Well-being.

Further, a Departmental presentation was presented by District Agriculture Officer (DAO), Chümoukedima, Bodevi Shüya, where he highlighted the departmental activities, schemes, grievances, agriculture census, etc. At the meeting, the Board also decided that the next DPDB meeting would have a separate board and sub-committee for society registration and upgradation of school level. Another proposal laid by the house was the acquisition of land for government purposes in the Chümoukedima district.

Agenda for Grant-in-Aid for Highland Secondary School, Naga United Village; and society registration of Chümoukedima District Butcher Union; Chümoukedima Gorkha Union is deferred to the next meeting.
