CM Rio-led PDA govt lauds NDA on milestone anniversaries

Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio-led People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) has extended its “heartfelt congratulations” to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the completion of 11 years in office and the first anniversary of its third consecutive term.

“We join the rest of the nation and our NDA partners in commemorating this significant occasion. We express our deep appreciation to the NDA leadership and all alliance partners for their unwavering commitment to the principles of inclusive development, collective responsibility, and strong governance. We also thank the people of Nagaland and the country for their continued trust in the NDA’s vision,” said a press release issued by the PDA government spokesperson and minister KG Kenye on Monday.

The statement said that the PDA government in Nagaland, under the NDPP-BJP alliance along with the supporting parties of the NPP, JD (U), LJP, NPF, RPI and the four independents MLAs under the leadership of CM Rio, has been delivering progressive development in Nagaland for the past seven years -working in close partnership with the NDA government in New Delhi. “This collaboration has enabled Nagaland and its people to be active contributors in the nation-building process. We remain inspired by the role of our youth and citizens in shaping a brighter future for India,” Kenye stated.

Moving forward, the PDA further expressed that it looks forward to strengthening democratic values, fostering inclusive growth, and realizing the shared goal of making “India Rise”.
