Kohima: Beneficiaries requested to prepare documents for reimbursement of medical expenses

Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS), Department of Health and Family Welfare, had informed that all employees and pensioners who have undergone medical treatment during the initial period of Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (EP) – between 1st November 2022 and 31st December 2023 – and had to make self-payment for the cost of treatment are eligible for reimbursement.

In a press release, CEO, NHPS, Thavaseelan K, IAS, further informed that an online portal for submission and processing of such claims is under development and will be ready soon.

Further, all beneficiaries have been requested to prepare the documents for reimbursement of medical expenses as soon as the portal goes live by visiting https://cmhis.nagaland.gov.in/. The portal has details of eligibility criteria and list of documents required for a successful claim application, the CEO stated.
