The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) has announced indefinite shutting of all shops across the state from Saturday, 27th April 2024 in protest of the harassment by Naga Political Groups on the business community.

Informing the presidents of Chamber of Commerce & Industry of all districts on Friday, CNCCI president Dr Khekugha Muru and General Secretary Dr Seyievilie Mor said that the organisation has decided on the statewide shutter down as the Nagaland Government has failed to provide any positive response. The Confederation therefore requested all its members to cooperate and ensure shutter down in their districts.

“Further, we would like to convey that banking establishments, educational institutions, government offices and all medical related activities may be kept outside the purview of the shutter down”, CNCCI stated.
