The Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch in collaboration with Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority organised a two-day training programme for Community First Response (CFR) on May 25 and 26 at PBCA hall, Longleng.
DPA, DDMA Longleng, Vesuto Puro, briefed the gathering on definition on Disaster DM (Act 2005), Cycle of Disaster Management, Response and Recovery, Mitigation and Disaster Preparedness, during and after a disaster, through PowerPoint presentation.

Resource team imparted the participants on the first Aid Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid Choking and Blood Donation, First Aid Fractures, Wound and Bleeding, Heart Attack and Cardiac Arrest, Dressing and Bandages and Recovery position and Transporting Casualty through PowerPoint presentation.
Resource team were, Managing Committee Member, IRCS Nagaland State Branch & First Aid Master Trainer, Kholie Dolf, Program Coordinator, IRCS Nagaland State Branch, Noulevituo Zumu, and UDA, IRCS Nagaland State Branch, Mhaleno Epuo.
The training programme was attended by the representative from Churches, Departments and Civil society organisations.
