Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) in private colleges concluded its first batch with a certificate distribution ceremony on 16th December 2024. This is an initiative of Startup Nagaland, Department of Industries & Commerce and implemented by Educentre School of Business.
P.Tokugha, Director of Industries & Commerce, graced the occasion, where he encouraged students that entrepreneurship in Nagaland is taking off and becoming a good career option. He also emphasized on the importance of fostering innovation and become job creators so that we can create impact. He advised students to strive for excellence, and not to follow success, rather success will follow when you start doing the things right. He highlighted the department’s efforts to support startups.

Around 60 students from Tetso College, St. Joseph’s Autonomous College, Eastern Christian College, and C-Edge College successfully completed the EDC program and were awarded certificates. The Educentre extended heartfelt thanks to the Department of Industries & Commerce and Startup Nagaland for their steadfast support in strengthening Nagaland’s startup ecosystem. This initiative seeks to inspire and empower young minds to contribute to a thriving entrepreneurial future for the region.
