Niuland District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) met on Tuesday at the DC Conference Hall in Niuland for its monthly meeting. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB Niuland, Sara S Jamir, DIPR informed.
In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) addressed the house concerning the rising issue of Cyber Crime, particularly fraudulent bank deposits and withdrawals. Victims were urged to contact the 1930 helpline for necessary actions.
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Niuland highlighted various medical projects undertaken by both the Central and State governments within the district. The emphasis was on the importance of public awareness regarding dengue viral infections.
The District Agriculture Officer of Niuland too presented various agricultural schemes and activities in the district.
Several crucial agendas approved by Niuland DPDB included upgradation of the Kuhuboto Police outpost to a full-fledged police station, upgradation of the existing GMS to GHS Xelhozhe, and registration of societies- Pulokinimi Welfare Society (Nihoto village), Pihekhu Ghami Baptist Church, and Kutupo Farmers Society (Zuheshe village).
