To enhance the safety of patients and medical staff, the District Hospital Kiphire, in collaboration with the Fire Service and Home Guard and Civil Defence Kiphire, conducted its first convergence fire evacuation drill on May 6.
The drill was designed to strengthen the contingency mechanisms for emergencies and improve the evacuation process for both patients and personnel.
The successful conduct of the drill not only demonstrated the effectiveness of the Hospital Disaster Management Plan but also heightened the emergency preparedness and awareness of all staff members in handling critical situations.
