The coordination meeting for the 8th edition of Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEX) was held on April 20 at DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland.

While chairing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Niuland, T L Kiusumong Tikhir said that the coordination meeting is a preliminary discussion for the 8th edition of (NEPEX) 2026 which is to be held on April 30.

Tikhir stated that the Mock drill is the real test of our capabilities and abilities for the real-time disaster scenario and urged all the stakeholders to participate with all seriousness on the upcoming events.

During the meeting, work assignments were also distributed to various departments and civil societies by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Atsangla.
