In view of the forthcoming Independence Day Celebration, a Coordination meeting of all the HoOs both State and Central under Medziphema sub-division was held on August 4 at the ADC Conference Hall, Medziphema. The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of ADC Medziphema, P James Swu.

The chairman welcomed all the officials present. The house deliberated on the preparations and arrangements for the Independence Day celebration. Various responsibilities were assigned to different state and central government departments to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the program.

The ADC reminded all the members to work in close coordination, extend mutual support and perform their assigned duties with sincerity and dedication. He emphasised the importance of discharging responsibilities sincerely, diligently and efficiently to ensure the successful celebration of Independence Day. Another key agenda discussed was the organisation of a special cleanliness drive across the sub division on August 13 from 7 a.m.

In addition, exhibition stalls would be set up by various departments such as VFATI, ICAR, AGRI, NSRLM, KVK, CIH during the Independence Day celebration to showcase various aspects of the local culture, products and government initiatives. The ADC also instructed all government officers and institutions under the subdivision to hoist the national flag at 6 am on Independence Day.

In view of the forthcoming Independence Day celebration a coordination meeting was convened by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tizit, C. Phuniang, at ADC’s conference hall, Tizit, Mon on August 4.

During the meeting, work distribution for successful celebration was discussed and entrusted to various departments and organisations.

Meeting was attended by representatives of various civil societies, educational institutions, government departments, DBs, GBs and uniform personnel.
