The Directorate of Technical Education, Nagaland has postponed the CUET-UG 2026 counselling from July 23 to July 28 in the interest of students and candidates.

In a notification issued in continuation of its earlier notification dated July 14, 2026, the directorate informed that the counselling will now be held on Tuesday, July 28, at 10:30 am in the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Technical Education, Kohima.

The directorate stated that the list of provisionally selected candidates and eligible candidates from the final merit list has been uploaded on the department’s website and displayed on the office notice board.

All candidates ranked Serial No. 1 to 500 in the State CUET-UG 2026 merit list have been directed to attend the counselling on the scheduled date.

The directorate further informed that failure to attend the counselling will be treated as the candidate’s decision to decline the allotted seat.
