The Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) has imposed a ban on the movement of all government vehicles from March 4 in continuation of its agitation against the government.

In a letter to the Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, the CWS stated, “In continuation of the Agitation on account of the non-fulfilment of assurance given by Minister, Higher Education and its Department, the CWS freezes the movement of all the Govt. Vehicles within its jurisdiction w.e.f 4th March, 2024 starting by 10.00 AM till the fulfilment of its affirmation.”

However, the CWS has exempted the following Department Vehicles: Administration, Medical, Fire & Emergency, Police, Home Guard & Civil Defence, Nagaland State Transport (NST) and College Buses.
