Dharam Raj, IAS, Deputy Commissioner and District Electoral officer, Longleng has directed all Heads of Offices to be in their posting places in view of the General Elections to the 18th Lok Sabha.

The DC & DEO also notified all HoOs to ensure attendance of all staff under their respective offices. Further, no staff can leave the station without prior permission from the DC & DEO, Longleng.

“This is for your kind information and strict compliance”, the order said.

Mention may be made that many government employees had left their posts due to the ‘Public Emergency called by the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization that prohibited Government offices to function.
