Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur has directed all government and private colleges in Dimapur district to participate in the 4th edition of “EduConnect: Connecting Education to Opportunities,” an initiative aimed at empowering students and youth through interaction with leading educational institutions from across India.
Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Dr Tinojongshi Chang, NCS informed that the programme is being organised by the Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) in collaboration with Cryptex Solo. The initiative seeks to strengthen educational awareness and create pathways for higher studies, skill development, and career opportunities for students in Nagaland and the wider North-East region.

He has requested colleges to disseminate information regarding the programme and mobilise participation from parents, recently passed Class 12 students, and final semester college students.
The programme is scheduled to be held on May 15 and 16, 2026, at the Integrated Business Hub & Innovation Centre (IBH&IC), Dimapur, located opposite Nikos Hospital.
Officials stated that the initiative is intended to provide meaningful engagement between students and reputed educational institutions, enabling participants to explore academic options, scholarship opportunities, career guidance, and emerging educational trends.
The district administration urged educational institutions to ensure maximum participation in the event, highlighting its importance in shaping future educational and career prospects for the youth of the region.
