The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima has issued a notification order in accordance with the letter from the Home Department, Nagaland, in support of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign under the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” initiative. The following program timeline and action points have been outlined for execution:

Program Timeline & Actions:

1. 9^th-13^th August:- All concerned are required to change their display pictures.

• Government offices, establishments, schools, and colleges are to start hoisting the national flag.
• All government offices, establishments, schools, and colleges should take the Tiranga Pledge and upload a selfie.
• Participation in the Tiranga Canvas by writing “Har Ghar Tiranga” or “Jai Hind” from all government offices, establishments, schools, and colleges.
• Tiranga tributes to bravehearts and freedom fighters by the District Enforcement Force and all security agencies.

2. 12^th-13^th August:

• Rallies/yatras along with sports persons by the District Sports Officer, DEF, all security agencies, schools, and colleges.
• SMS reminder to hoist the flag by all telecom agencies.

3. 13^th-15^th August:

• All households under Kohima Municipal Council, Chiephobozou Town Council, and all RD Blocks are directed to hoist the national flag at home.
• All concerned to upload a Tiranga selfie on harghartiranga.com

In this regard, all concerned Departments, Schools, Colleges, and Establishments are hereby directed to make the necessary arrangements to conduct the above-mentioned activities. Mobilizing the maximum number of individuals, students, and households is crucial to ensure the success of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign.

Furthermore, departments needing flags for distribution to households may procure them from the Development Branch of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Kohima, as per their requirements.
