Deputy Commissioner of Kohima has revised the traffic restrictions imposed on heavy vehicles along the affected stretch of National Highway-2 between Kohima and Mao.

According to an order issued by Deputy Commissioner, B. Henok Buchem, NCS, the earlier restriction order dated May 12, 2026, has been partially modified in view of the movement of essential services.

The revised order stated that the restriction would now apply exclusively to heavy vehicles above ten wheels with immediate effect.
