DC Kohima urges departments to utilize DPDB for addressing departmental issues

Kohima: DC seeks active participation from members at Statehood Day and Hornbill Festival 2023

Kohima Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of DPDB Kumar Ramnikant, IAS on Tuesday urged all departments to collaborate and utilize the District Planning and Development Board platform for addressing departmental issues. He said this while presiding the monthly meeting of Kohima DPDB.

During the meeting the DC also expressed gratitude to the District Offices, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), and Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) for actively participating in a morning mass social work held earlier in the day. He urged the District Offices to provide reports on the social work conducted by their respective offices.

Ramnikant further sought active participation for the upcoming celebration of Statehood Day and Hornbill Festival 2023.

Also at the DPDB meeting, the Oriental College Kohima Alumni Association presented its Association, and the Board decided to recommend it to the Government for further necessary actions. The Society of Victory Ministries was taken up and approved in principle for verification.

The Chief Medical Officer, Kohima, presented departmental activities on the Universal Immunization Program and outlined activities for the financial year 2023-2024. The Department of Industries was tasked with presenting its activities in the next DPDB meeting.
