Review meeting with political parties for Final Publication of Electoral Roll was held at DC’s Conference Room, Mokokchung on 10th January 2025. In his short speech, the Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji welcomed the representatives of all political parties and emphasized the importance of transparency and collaboration in ensuring a free and fair election. He also expressed gratitude for their cooperation during the electoral roll revision process.

In his closing remarks, the DC thanked the political parties for their participation and constructive feedback. The DC reiterated the election office’s commitment to conducting impartial and transparent elections. He further, appealed all political parties to promote peaceful and fair electoral practice while ensuring compliance with the Election Commission’s guidelines.

In his brief review on final Publication of Electoral Roll, the ADC provided an overview of the process leading to the final publication of the Electoral Roll, highlighting the key points with details on additions, deletions, and corrections during the revision process.

The ADC also highlighted the steps taken including field verifications and grievance redressed mechanisms to ensure accuracy, and the efforts to include special categories of voters, such as senior citizens, PwDs, and first time voters. The ADC also informed the political parties that the Final copy of the Electoral Roll is available for inspection at the ADC office, Mokokchung.
