A One-Day Training Programme on Novel Processing and Value Addition of Tapioca will be organised in Wokha Town on 24th February 2025 by the District Administration, Wokha, in collaboration with ICAR- Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, and ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Wokha. This event will also feature the ‘Ethnic Tuber Crops Fest’ as part of the celebrations.

In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha has informed interested beneficiaries to register for the event by contacting Daniel Ovung (DFS (Livelihood), NSRLM, Wokha \ Mobile: 9366981878). The DC has also encouraged all stakeholders, including Self-Help Groups (SHGs), farmer, entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in tapioca processing and value addition to participate in the training.

Further, the DC informed that the event will be graced by Mhathung Yanthan, MLA & Advisor, Agriculture, Government of Nagaland, as the Special Guest.
