Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, in a circular, informed that the Government of India has announced the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

In this regard, every citizen in the district has been requested to hoist the Tiranga (Tricolour flag) in their houses/office buildings from 13th to 15th August 2022 to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. The rate of the flag is fixed at Rs. 20/- (Twenty only), as per the direction of the Central Ministry. And further, the ULB/Town Council Administrators, BDOs, and COs have been informed to organize ‘Prabhat Pheri’ (Morning procession/walks) by youths/students on the 10th of August 2022 from 7:00 AM onwards in all the towns and villages in the district for creating awareness about the Campaign.
