Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Dharam Raj (IAS), has informed that in view of road damage caused by a landslide due to incessant rain along NH 702A, Zunheboto-Mokokchung Road at New Colony, the road would  remain temporarily closed until further orders.

According to a travel advisory issued by the Deputy Commissioner, all heavy vehicles (including loaded trucks and pickups), all light vehicles, and any commercial vehicles plying between Zunheboto and Mokokchung are hereby diverted to take the Old Mokokchung Road/Check Post Road.

The public and commuters have been requested to strictly adhere to the advisory and cooperate with the authorities until the road is restored, follow traffic signage, and comply with the instructions of officials deployed at the site.
