A Tabletop Exercise was conducted on Monday in Tizit, to prepare for the mock exercise on a simulation of the M8.7 Shillong earthquake 1897, scheduled to be conducted in Tizit, Mon on 16th July, 2024, informed DIPR.

The exercise was organized by District Disaster Management Authority, Mon in collaboration with the NSDMA, NDRF & SDRF, at ADC’s conference hall, Tizit.

Tumben P Tsanglao, SDO (Civil) Tizit, who is also the Incident Commander of the mock exercise briefed the participants of their roles and urged them to have clarity on their assigned responsibilities.
