Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Dharam Raj (IAS) convened a coordination meeting on June 5 at DC’s Conference hall, Zunheboto, with all the line departments in connection with the upcoming launch of “Dharti Aaba Abhiyan- Awareness and Benefits Saturation Camps” from June 15 to 30, 2025.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted that Government of India, through the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, is undertaking two critical and time-bound missions to empower tribal communities. The Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) and the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA JGUA) aims to saturate services and infrastructure in tribal areas across the country through targeted interventions.

Further, the Deputy Commissioner sensitised that unlike traditional IEC campaigns, the campaign ensures, on-the-ground delivery of entitlements through village-level / cluster level camps, providing the following (indicative list): Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Ayushman Bharat Card (PM-JAY), Caste Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), PM-KISAN, Jan Dhan Account, Insurance Coverage (PMJJBY/PMSBY). Social Security (Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Divyang Pension), Employment and Livelihood Schemes (MGNREGA, PM Vishwakarma, Mudra Loans), Women & Child Welfare (PMMVY, ICDS Benefits, Immunization).etc.
He further said that the campaign would operate with active participation of CSCs, local administration, frontline workers, and departmental convergence to ensure that benefit reaches to eligible tribal individuals and families, and therefore appealed all the line workers for sincere participation for the grand success of the campaign.
