The IEC Campaign programme on Dharti Aaba Janjatiya gram Utkarsh Abhiyan was held in Phek on November 15 held at the Deputy Commissioner office, Phek. ADC Phek, Ruopfukuotuo Noudi, NCS spoke about the current campaign with target from Central government for the upliftment of the Tribal Inhabited Villages through various flagship schemes in the States.
Stating that the role of district Administration is only to give supervision to line departments, Noudi urged upon the officers of the concerned line departments to give their fullest in the actual implementation part of the various schemes, so that the target of the Central government for Saturation would be successfully achieved.
The officers from concerned line departments, which includes – Fisheries, Industries, Agriculture Veterinary, and Education department gave power point presentations on their current developmental activities of Flagship schemes under Phek district.
Exhibition stalls include – PM-KISAN (Shri dept), MMU & Ayushman Bharat and Free BP & Sugar testing (Medical Department), PMMVY (Women & Child Dev. Dept.) PMAY (RD), and Aadhar centre were put at the programme.
Special songs were presented by WSCBAV Residential Hostel, Phek, and Swuyeveto at the program. The programme which was attended by hosts of representatives from villages and Students was chaired by EAC Phek, Kum. Nengpichong Singsit.

NIULAND
The IEC Campaign for DA- JGUA scheme was held on 15th November, 2024 across 4 (four) villages namely Hakhizhe, Hovishe, Hovukhu and Kuhoxu under Niuland district. The event witnessed mass participation of various Departments and public across the district. A programme was held to highlight about the DA-JGUA scheme. The program was chaired by Extra Assistant Commissioners of Niuland District.
During the programme, success stories of various schemes such as PM KISAN, Ayushman Bharat and NSRLM were shared by beneficiaries encouraging the public to enroll and reap the benefits of the schemes provided by the Government. Cultural presentations were displayed by the women folks marking the rich heritage of traditional practices which are well preserved in the district. Saturation camp for enrollment of beneficiaries for various schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, Adhar, PM Kisan etc by respective Departments was held after the formal programme which immensely benefitted the public
MANGKOLEMBA
The IEC Campaign on Dharti Aaba Janjatiya gram utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JUGA) was initiated at the ADC office complex in Mangkolemba on the 16th of November, 2024. The launch of the campaign was overseen by Hotolu Sema, the SDO © alongside officials from various departments, Town Councilors, Dobashis, GBs, and representatives from different organizations.
In his address, Hotolu Sema, SDO © of Mangkolemba mentioned that the scheme is set to be implemented in six villages within Mangkolemba subdivision, namely Molungkimong, Yimchenkimong, Waromong, Debuia, Khar, and Changki. Emphasising on addressing the requirements of tribal communities, he expressed confidence that this initiative will result in extensive and all-encompassing progress in the region.
He also detailed a range of interventions to be implemented by the various departments with the goal of improving coordination and alignment of government projects.
DA-JUGA is dedicated to the all-encompassing growth of tribal areas and communities through the filling of crucial gaps in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and livelihood. Nagaland has been chosen as one of the 30 states and Union territories to carry out this initiative, benefiting 608 villages within the State.
