The Dimapur District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on 26 October at DC’s Conference Hall, Dimapur, chaired by Deputy Commissioner and vice-chairman of DPDB, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS.
In the meeting, Project Director, DRD, Dimapur, Kethosituo Sekhose stated that with the creation of Chümoukedima district, the jurisdiction of Rural Development (RD) Chümoukedima, Dhansirpar and Kuhuboto now fell under the districts of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland.
This has given rise to administrative inconveniences, particularly for the Block Office, as the BDOs now have to report to two different district authorities, Sekhose stated. Three proposals were heard by the board regarding this issue.
Chief Medical Officer Dimapur (CMO) informed that the procedure for registering to the CMHIS Scheme is going on in all the departments. Under the scheme, employees and pensioner can avail up to Rs 20 lakh and the general public can avail up to Rs 5 lakh respectively, he added.
