The Toys and Naga Tribal Jewellery Cluster, Dimapur, conducted a ‘Buyer-Sellers Meet’ under Project SFURTI at Duncan Bosti, Dimapur, on Saturday. The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati serves as the Nodal Agency, and the Bhavishya Learning India Private Limited as the Technical Agency, and Mind Blowers Club as the Implementing Agency.
The meet aimed to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to display their products and foster collaboration and idea exchange among artisans and manufacturers. Ten entrepreneurs from Dimapur, who run manufacturing units, were invited to showcase their products, including Naga Tribal Jewellery, handicrafts made from wood and bamboo, textiles, and handcrafted toys.
The event facilitated interactions between the entrepreneurs and artisans, focusing on sharing ideas for designing, product development, advertising, and exploring new market linkages. The discussions were aimed at motivating artisans and promoting innovation and growth in the traditional crafts sector.
The initiative, under the SFURTI project, aims to empower local artisans by providing them opportunities for market exposure and enhancing their business skills.
