Advisor, Information & Public Relations and Soil & Water Conservation, Government of Nagaland, Daochier I Imchen was called on by the officials of the Department of Information & Public Relations at his official residence, Kohima on June 8.

At the outset, Commissioner & Secretary, IPR, Orenthung Lotha, IAS and Director, IPR, Dzüvinuo Theünuo congratulated him on his victory to the Nagaland by-election from the Koridang Assembly Constituency under Mokokchung district. Both the AHoD and HoD apprised him the ongoing projects and activities of the Department, and assured him to extend full support and cooperation to his leadership as the Advisor to the Department.

Imchen thanked the Department’s officials and said for him, that it was like more of a home coming as his late father held the same departments till his demise. He expressed his gratitude to the Department’s officials as they stood by him during this extraordinary situation, and also appealed to the officials present to continue extend support and guidance to his leadership.

He requested the Department to expedite the projects and activities initiated during the times of his father so as to keep his legacy and memories alive.
