A District-Level Coordination Meeting on Reform Utsav was held at the DC’s Office Chamber, Meluri, on September 16 to discuss the objectives, implementation and awareness activities under the programme.

Deputy Commissioner, Meluri, Phuleshe K Yepthomi, deliberated on the objectives and purpose of Reform Utsav and stressed the need to conduct awareness and sensitisation campaigns to ensure wider public participation. He also stressed the need to obtain feedback from citizens and stakeholders at the grassroots level, for the effective implementation of Reform Utsav.

He urged all Heads of Departments to actively involve themselves and participate in the Reform Utsav activities for its effective implementation in the district.

EAC Meluri, Zuchibemo Ezung, deliberated on the modalities for conducting and reporting awareness and sensitisation campaigns/programmes under Reform Utsav. He emphasised the importance of proper documentation and timely reporting of activities undertaken by the respective departments.
