The District Level Youth Festival 2026 for Kohima District is tentatively scheduled to be held on September 11.

The festival will provide a platform for young people to showcase their talents and creativity, while promoting youth participation and self-reliance. The events will include Declamation as a solo event on the theme “Youth, Skills and a Self-Reliant Nagaland”, along with group events in Folk Song and Folk Dance.

All schools, colleges, youth clubs and interested youth in Kohima District have been invited to participate. Participants must be between 15 and 29 years of age.

The festival aims to identify and nurture young talent and select the best individuals and teams to represent Kohima District at the State Level Youth Festival 2026, scheduled to be held on September 29 at IG Stadium.
