District Welfare Officer (DWO), Peren, I. Tsungrosongla Ao has informed all the CDPOs, Anganwadi Workers/Helpers, Chairmen of respective towns and villages and all the beneficiaries of National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) viz. IGNOAPS, IGNOAPS (80+), IGNWPS, IGNDPS under Peren district for awareness and general information that, those beneficiaries who have submitted their Bank Account details to the Office of the District Welfare Officer, payment for six (6) months will be initiated through Bank DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) starting from the first week of September.

In this regard, all the beneficiaries have been informed to ensure that their submitted Bank Accounts are active and working, and those whose accounts are inactive or dormant, or have cases of pending loans, should visit their respective Bank Branches and revive/update their accounts through KYC, failing which, the Department will not be held responsible if any beneficiary is unable to withdraw the Pension/if the Pension amount gets deducted via a pending loan against the beneficiary’s submitted Bank Account.
