The Department of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (DoEFCC), Government of Nagaland, has notified that in partial modification of Department’s previous notification issued on 19th March 2024, the State Government has fixed the Schedule Rates of Royalty and other payables on the following Areca Catechu (Betel Nut) which is not of local origin and passing through the State of Nagaland with immediate effect. The Department informed that the order is being issued with the concurrence of Finance Department, Budget & Monitoring Cell.

1. Areca Catechu (Edible) – Supari- 10 rupees per KG
2. Areca Catechu (Non Edible) -Supari (Lali)- 5 rupees per KG
