A door-to-door registration drive for the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) began on Monday with a brief kick-off programme held at Süngkomen Community Hall in Mokokchung on Monday.

The door-to-door registration drive was initiated by the 24 Angetyongpang, National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Assembly Constituency Youth Organization.

The registrations will be taking place from 28 November to 12 December 2022.

Bendang Walling, president of NDPP Mokokchung Region Youth Organization, lauded the 24 Angetyongpang NDPP AC (Youth) for volunteering to aid people through the CMHIS and advised the party and CMHIS operators not to deviate from their primary objective of ‘Door to Door Registration’.

Walling remarked that a successful conclusion of this initiative would demonstrate the NDPP’s maturity and duty to the public.

Earlier in the programme, Rev O Yashi Jamir, pastor of Sungkomen Baptist Arogo, delivered the dedicatory prayer.

Nungshimayang, president of NDPP 24 AC Angetyongpang, delivered the Presidential Note while Supongwati, president of NDPP 24 AC Youth Organization, gave a briefing on CMHIS.

Limanungsang Kichu, chairman of the Sungkomen Ward Yimden, gave a word of encouragement at the programme.
