Niuland, Peren, Tuensang and Mon are through to the Semi Finals after winning their respective matches in the Quarter Finals of the ongoing Dr T Ao Trophy.
The prestigious inter-district football tournament is being organised by the Nagaland Football Association and hosted by Tuensang District Football Association at the Loyem Memorial Astro Turf Ground, Tuensang.
In the first quarter final Niuland beat Zunheboto 4-1 while Peren put down Phek 2-0 in the second match.
The home team, Tuensang, played against Noklak in the third match and won 1-0. Meanwhile, in the fourth Quarter Final match, Mon beat Mokokchung 1-0 to secure a place in the Semi-Final.
The first Semi-Final match will take place between Niuland and Tuensang on 25th September 2024 (Wednesday) at 2:00 pm and the second Semi-Final match will be between Peren and Mon which will be played on 26th September (Thursday) at 2:00 pm. Both matches will be live streamed by SportsCast India on YouTube.
Additionally, an exhibition match will be played between NFA XI and Officials XI on 25th September at 11:00 am.
