As a part of the Wildlife Week celebration Eco-Warriors Nagaland conducted an awareness program at Bethel AG School, Diezephe Village Chümoukedima under the theme “Wildlife Conservation through Co-Existence”.
During the programme Lesemew, the Founder & chairman of Eco – Warriors Nagaland, shared on the role of Eco-warriors Nagaland. He emphasized the organization’s mission and initiatives aimed at promoting wildlife conservation. He also provided details about the ongoing celebration of World Wildlife Week, highlighting the importance of raising awareness about wildlife protection.

Following this, Tomal, Research Associate from Azim Premji University and a birder from Northeast India, spoke about the significance of birding. He briefed the overview of various bird species found in our area, engaging the students with fascinating facts.
Akrieno then delivered a speech on wildlife celebration, informed a press release.
Emphasizing its significance and the role children can play in protecting wildlife. To encourage participation, a short quiz was conducted, and the children actively engaged, showcasing their knowledge. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the quiz competition, adding excitement to the event.
Later, the faculty Bethal AG School thanked the Eco-Warriors for contributing to a positive atmosphere through the program, leaving students inspired to learn more about wildlife conservation
