Eagle Crest Training Academy & Consultancy (ECTAAC), formerly known as Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd. Nagaland, signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) on Thursday (March 14, 2025). The agreement aims to further collaboration in providing job opportunities, skill development, and training programs for students and job seekers across Nagaland

AKM President Lanutoshi Aier, expressing gratitude to Eagle Crest, stated that in 2023, an MoU had been signed for three years between AKM and Eagle Crest under its previous name, Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd. However, without waiting for its expiration, a new five-year MoU has now been signed under their new nomenclature.

He stated that AKM has been actively sharing job opportunities provided by Eagle Crest with various student bodies under its conference. “During their previous name, Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd. Nagaland, we tried our best to support. As AKM, we are always there to support their new venture and approach. Seeing the positive sign, we have come to an agreement to collaborate with each other. Whatever events they will have in the days to come, AKM is willing to give inputs and information to our students and the local community of Mokokchung, as well as our students in various parts of the state, be it employed or unemployed, to inform them about Eagle Crest’s presence and their facilities with regard to various training programs. We are willing to channelize,” the AKM President said.

When asked about the impact of the previous MoU, he stated that through Emporium, students got access to job opportunities and training programs, which were then shared with AKM members. “Those interested availed the opportunity. We were also invited to various secular programs like job melas, where we got to know better, and we are still here to collaborate more,” Aier added.

New Training Programs and Skill Loan Facility

Temjenkala Aier, CEO of ECTAAC, stated that they previously operated under the name Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt Ltd. Nagaland. However, after following a franchise model, they are now beginning their journey as a local entrepreneurial venture.

She emphasized that the newly signed MoU includes additional features that will greatly benefit young people interested in training with them. “It is a five-year period of MoU. We have a fantastic skill loan facility, which IDAN has taken the initiative to work together with us. We are really, really happy that this particular feature is going to empower lots of youngsters now who are looking to take such training, especially those from economically challenged backgrounds,” she said.

She also highlighted that students coming through AKM, those who register via the AKM office, or any college or higher secondary establishment that signs an MoU with Eagle Crest will receive certain concessions, which is another feature of the MoU.

Additionally, she announced the introduction of two new training programs this year—”Barista Executive” and “Unarmed Security.” “These courses will be very helpful for those who have studied Class 8 and above, as they can take up this opportunity as well,” she said.

She further asserted that ECTAAC is one of the top skill development institutes in Nagaland today. “We are continuously aiming for higher and better quality training and placements. I encourage all youngsters who are looking to go overseas or work within Nagaland that Eagle Crest is a destination for you to come, get trained from the best, and also get placed with top companies that are safe and secure,” she added.

Newsletter Launched to Enhance Communication

As part of the event, the Eagle Crest Newsletter was officially launched by AKM President Lanutoshi Aier.

Temjenkala Aier shared that the purpose of launching the newsletter is to provide essential information to people interested in learning more about Eagle Crest’s activities. “Instead of hearing it from people, having a hard copy in our hands, reading and understanding it, gives us confidence. Many colleges have signed up with us, and they also get to know our activities through this newsletter,” she explained.

She further mentioned that a major reason behind introducing the newsletter was public feedback. “We have had many people telling us, ‘Your institution is conducting many training programs and events, but we have never heard of them.’ So, we thought the best way to address this is to come up with this magazine. For example, we have interviews—both online and offline, domestic and international—so campus interviews happen in big seasons, with four to five major companies visiting Eagle Crest Institute to conduct interviews. These are huge opportunities. We have national and international brands always conducting hiring processes in our institute, and we want to highlight these strengths, which we are very proud of,” she said.

She also acknowledged AKM’s support since signing the MoU in 2023. “We have done a few job fairs together, including one at Fazl Ali College in collaboration with a few other collaborators. It was amazing, as many people from Mokokchung Town and nearby villages got the opportunity to come and avail the services. I am really thankful to the AKM organization for giving us the privilege of having their support despite their busy schedule,” she said.

Expressing her gratitude, she specifically thanked AKM President Lanutoshi Aier for always being a big support and a “cheerleader” to the Eagle Crest organization.
